One role. Two sides of human performance.
Most exercise physiologists have to choose: clinical work or high-performance coaching. This role is both.
You'll work inside a true multidisciplinary team — physicians, nurses, dietitians, athletic therapy, and performance coaches — collaborating on shared clients and shared outcomes. You'll run advanced assessments, build the programs that follow, and coach clients through them, from those managing chronic conditions to highly driven adults, youth and kids, chasing peak performance.
You'll be fully cross-trained and work across both of our Calgary locations — Preventous Collaborative Health and Xone Performance. Two environments, one team, and a much broader practice than you'd build in either alone.
What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive fitness and performance assessments, and write clear, evidence-based reports
- Design individualized fitness and rehabilitation programs, then track progress and follow up
- Coach clients one-on-one in fully equipped, premium facility
- Interpret advanced assessment data and turn it into a plan clients understand and follow
- Collaborate with our medical, dietetic, and therapy teams on integrated care
- Partner with clients to set and hit real functional health, longevity, and performance goals
- Help evolve our assessment protocols — refining what we measure, how we interpret it, and how we translate it into results
- Contribute to new coaching and human optimization programs as we grow
The tools you'll have:
DARI Motion Analysis- Markerless full-body movement capture
ForceDecks- Objective force, power, and asymmetry data
VO₂ Max Testing-True cardiorespiratory benchmarking
Advanced Body Composition- Precise, trackable change over time
Integrated medical team-Physician and longevity expertise on the same client
This is the part that changes your practice. Your recommendations are backed by real data and reinforced by a medical team working alongside you.
