About Mobiltex
Mobiltex is an IIoT and software company delivering remote monitoring and software solutions that help maintain pipeline health for industries delivering critical services. Individual solutions target corrosion prevention, gas pressure management, and water network optimization, primarily serving midstream and downstream energy operators, and water utilities.
Mobiltex is a high-growth company in an active phase of product and organizational scaling, with potential for M&A, as well as a growing international footprint. This is an environment that rewards people who can build structure where it doesn’t yet exist, and drive commercial output as the organization scales.
Role Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing Mobiltex’s commercial marketing programs across all product lines and geographies. The role owns campaign delivery, manages a marketing specialist, coordinates with external vendors, and is accountable for connecting marketing activity to measurable commercial outcomes.
This is a hands-on execution role. The successful candidate will work closely with the VP, Sales and Marketing and vertical sales leaders to translate commercial objectives into campaigns that reach buyers. The role is focused on running the marketing function with discipline, building programs that generate pipeline, and demonstrating that marketing investment is producing results.
The role reports directly to the VP, Sales and Marketing, and operates as a peer to Sales leadership at Mobiltex. For the right candidate, this is a platform role with genuine growth potential within marketing and other areas of commercial execution.
Core Responsibilities
Campaign Development and Execution
- Work with vertical sales leaders and product management to identify marketing priorities that align with the company strategy.
- Plan and execute B2B marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, and outbound channels targeting pipeline integrity, corrosion monitoring, pressure management and related industrial audiences.
- Develop campaign briefs, manage timelines, coordinate assets, and deliver programs from concept to completion.
- Support trade show and industry event participation, including AMPP, AWWA and similar sector-specific conferences.
- Maintain a forward campaign calendar aligned to commercial priorities and sales team needs.
- Support NPD process working with product management to bring new products to market in a structured, scalable way.
Team and Vendor Management
- Directly manage one marketing specialist, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback, and development support.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies for creative execution, web updates, and event production.
- Ensure external spend delivers output at a standard consistent with Mobiltex brand requirements and on agreed timelines.
- Ownership of overall marketing budget performance tracking.
Marketing Data and Attribution
- Own HubSpot as the primary marketing platform, including campaign setup, lead management, list health, and performance reporting.
- Track and report on pipeline influence metrics – not just activity and output, but commercial contribution to the sales funnel.
- Maintain integration between HubSpot and Salesforce to ensure marketing and sales data are consistent and actionable.
- Build reporting that makes marketing performance visible to the VP and the commercial leadership team on a regular cadence.
Brand and Content
- Maintain brand-consistent messaging across all commercial materials, digital presence, and campaign assets.
- Develop and update product collateral, sales enablement materials, and external communications in coordination with the sales and product team.
- Ensure all customer-facing marketing reflects Mobiltex’s operator-audience framing – problem-first, outcome-oriented, and technically credible.
How You’ll Lead
Commercial Accountability
Marketing at Mobiltex exists to support revenue growth, not to generate awareness for its own sake. You will be expected to define what commercial contribution from marketing looks like, build the reporting to track it, and hold yourself and your team accountable to outcomes the sales team can actually use. Activity metrics are not the goal. Pipeline influence, content that converts, and events that produce qualified leads are.
Lean Team Execution
You are managing a small function with a broad mandate. That means prioritizing ruthlessly, using vendors efficiently, and building a program calendar that is achievable without over-extending the team. The ability to deliver high-quality output with a lean structure – and to know when to decline low-value requests – is as important as any individual marketing skill.
AI-Forward Execution
Mobiltex expects its marketing function to produce output that punches above its size. AI tooling is how you get there. You will be expected to use AI as a production tool across content creation, reporting, campaign analysis, and research – not as a reactive supplement to existing workflows. Fluency with AI tools similar is a baseline expectation. The candidate we are looking for is not just comfortable with these tools today – they are curious about where they go next and deliberate about deploying them in ways that let a lean team outperform and bring the organization forward. .
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years in B2B marketing with demonstrated experience managing campaigns end to end, from brief to measurement.
- Proven track record connecting marketing programs to measurable commercial output, not just delivery.
- Experience managing a small team or individual contributors with clear expectations and accountability.
- Proficiency in HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation platform.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and how marketing and CRM data connect.
- Clear written communicator with strong business writing capability.
Profile
- You are a builder and an executor – energized by running effective programs, not writing strategy documents.
- You think in commercial terms: who is the buyer, what do they need to hear, and what does success look like after the campaign ends.
- You manage vendors with the same standards you hold for yourself: clear briefs, on-time delivery, brand-consistent output.
- You are comfortable receiving strategic direction and operating with autonomy on execution.
- You are intellectually curious and forward-thinking – you pay attention to where B2B marketing and AI tooling are going, not just where they have been.
- You see this role as a platform to grow into broader marketing leadership over time, and you are motivated by that trajectory.
- Industrial, IIoT, infrastructure, or energy sector experience is an asset, not a requirement.
