As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist who is passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for patients and play an essential role in ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed, cared for, and supported. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, personable, and thrives in a busy healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a positive, friendly, and professional clinic experience
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using the clinic's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collect payments and process transactions accurately
- Maintain organized and confidential patient records while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
- Coordinate and communicate with insurance companies, lawyers, and other stakeholders regarding Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims
- Assist with direct billing and insurance-related administration
- Open and close the clinic according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support the chiropractor with administrative projects and other clinic duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service, hospitality, medical office, or administrative experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of computer literacy and confidence learning new software systems
- Interest in health, wellness, and patient care
- Experience with direct billing, healthcare administration, or insurance claims is considered an asset
- Previous experience in a chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, or healthcare setting is an asset

Schedule
Monday: 8:40 AM – 12:30 PM / 1:30 PM – 6:20 PM
Tuesday: 12:40 PM – 7:20 PM
Wednesday: 7:40 AM – 1:20 PM
Thursday: 11:40 AM – 6:20 PM
Saturday: 7:40 AM – 12:20 PM (twice per month)
