Position Summary
The Business Analyst Co-op will support De Havilland’s operational and business
improvement initiatives by developing reporting tools, analyzing data, and assisting with
process optimization activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role will
contribute to the implementation of dashboards, business requirements documentation,
and project tracking tools that improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making across the
organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of tools, dashboards, and reporting
solutions to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, stakeholder needs,
and process workflows.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports with actionable insights and
recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement
opportunities and support implementation of solutions.
- Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new tools, systems, and reporting
platforms.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of project management tracking
tools, databases, and performance reporting systems.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and metrics to
support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration,
Commerce, Operations Management, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data, understand business needs, and communicate findings
clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage
multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across
technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving operational environment.
- Previous experience in an office, analytical, or project support environment is
considered an asset.
