The ROLE -
The Junior Quality Control Technician will support our quality management processes by inspecting and testing products to uphold our standards of excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing, quality control, and analysis within a collaborative environment committed to continuous improvement. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities –
► Perform detailed quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and final product inspections
► Use measuring equipment including: calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools
► Collect and record data accurately during quality checks to ensure traceability and compliance with specifications
► Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection areas and testing equipment
► Identify and report non-conforming products
► Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
► Assist with calibration, audits, and continuous improvement activities
► Collaborate with production to address quality concerns promptly and effectively
► Maintain quality documentation, including traceability and accurate quality records
► Follow established procedures for quality management, ensuring adherence to ISO standards and company policies
About YOU -
► High school diploma or equivalent
► Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
► Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook)
► Ability to read and follow procedures and work instructions
► Good communication skills to clearly document findings and collaborate with colleagues
► Basic math and measurement skills
► Previous manufacturing or inspection experience would be considered an asset
► Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings would be considered an asset
► Basic understanding of dimensions and tolerances would be considered an asset
► Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools would be considered an asset

Salary range is $45,000 to $55,000/year, based on experience.
We are located in the Gloucester Industrial Park off the 264th exit in the township of Langley, BC, just blocks away from Highway 1. *Please note, there is no transit service to this area*
