Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing cannabis products, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. It would be ideal for you to have a valid drivers license and a vehicle so you can earn extra $ doing our deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
- Provide accurate information about different strains, potency levels, and consumption methods
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure product displays are organized and well-stocked
- Educate customers on responsible cannabis use and harm reduction strategies
- Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products
- Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary
Requirements:
- Must be at least 19 years old and CANSELL certified
- Valid drivers license, vehicle available to do deliveries (paid in addition to regular wage)
- Strong knowledge of different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods
- Familiarity with POS systems and computerized inventory management systems
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in cashiering or sales is preferred but not required
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed
