Responsibilities:
- Create and implement customer retention initiatives, negotiating and/or approving rates.
- Ensure the quality of operations and customer service, dealing with customers daily, communicating, providing support, building relationships, expanding the company footprint, all while upholding the reputation of the company.
- Daily, using all resources available, procure sufficient outbound and inbound loads to ensure that drivers achieve their mileage goals, and trucks are used to their maximum potential.
- Oversee daily load planning and execute operational tasks to support driver relations, retention, and company objectives.
- React timely and strategically to scheduling changes and customer needs.
- Assist in scheduling, border crossing managements, and data input, as needed.
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures in accordance with organizational objectives and apply any necessary improvements.
- Shared after hours on-call rotation
- Other tasks deemed integral to operational efficiencies and employee development.
- Interact with superiors to make decisions for operational activities and strategic goals.
- Ensure that the company operates with legality and conformity to established regulations.
