Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head and Assistant Boys and Girls Elite Volleyball Coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the game and a commitment to developing players' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in the sport. This role involves coaching athletes of various skill levels, fostering a positive and encouraging environment, and promoting the values of hard work and dedication both on and off the court.
They will be responsible for the safe and effective training of athletes at practices, playdays and tournaments. As well, the Volleyball Coach will plan and conduct practices for participating athletes. They will also attend/coach weekend tournaments, and possible travel tournaments and ensure the overall wellbeing of all athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Typical responsibilities and duties are inclusive of, but not limited to:
- Plan and deliver training sessions (2-3 Afternoon and/or evening practices) to
- participating athletes.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to all athletes.
- Responsible for leading and developing a volleyball team, which includes creating training plans, strategizing for games, and providing player guidance.
- Analyze performance, communicate effectively, and foster a positive team environment, with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding player development and team progress.
- Aims to enhance players' skills, teamwork, and overall experience in the sport.
- Maintain open communication with the Technical Director, G2 Administration, and Parents of Athletes.
- Provide basic medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Required Qualifications and Key Skills
Training & Work Experience
- 1-3 years of Volleyball coaching experience required.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring youth is highly valued, as it contributes to effective communication and player development.
- Completion of the Coaching requirements offered through coach.ca

Completion of Clearance on criminal record checks for vulnerable sector is a condition of employment
Knowledgeable in the technical elements of Volleyball.
A Basic First Aid certificate.

Reporting Structure
Reports To: Technical Director
Direct Reports: Founder and Administration of G2 Athletics
Key Interactions:
Internal: G2 Athletics Administration, Athletes, and Technical Director
External: Parents, Staff of Facilities being visited on sports event, and
participants from other club teams
Contract Period:
Part-time contract position from November 15, 2026 to May 31, 2027.
Work location: on-site, travel to other sporting facilities.
Contract term Honorarium between $500.00 to $2,000.00, depending on level of
commitment and experience.
