Specialized Heavy Haul Dispatcher

JNB Heavy Haul is looking for a professional dispatcherto join our team coordinating specialized heavy haul and oversize loads across North America.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys solving logistical challenges, planning complex moves, and working closely with professional drivers to execute safe and efficient transport operations.
Heavy haul requires more than basic dispatching. It requires planning, precision, and the ability to manage moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Dispatch and coordinate heavy haul and oversize loadsfrom shipper to receiver
- Plan routes while managing permits, escorts, restrictions, and timing requirements
- Maintain clear communication with drivers to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance
- Monitor loads throughout transit and proactively solve logistical issues
- Work with dispatch systems and office software (email, Excel, Word, PDF platforms)
- Contribute to a high-accountability, fast-moving dispatch environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous trucking or dispatch experience (required)
- Heavy haul or oversize experience (strong asset)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Calm and professional when managing time-sensitive situations
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- A genuine interest in the trucking and transportation industry
