Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to specification, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Assist in prepping ingredients and setting up stations, following recipes and kitchen guidelines.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, ensuring they are ready for use.
- Maintain a clean and organized dish area, keeping it stocked and functioning efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment meet health and safety standards, following all cleaning and sanitation guidelines.
- Remove trash, sweep, and mop kitchen floors, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with your kitchen team, communicating effectively to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
- Monitor food stock and supplies, assisting with inventory management and minimizing waste.
- Work efficiently to meet kitchen demands, ensuring orders are prepared quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance as required.
What You Bring to the Table
- Kitchen Experience: Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or dishwasher in a high-volume kitchen is an asset but not required. We’re happy to train the right person who is eager to learn and grow!
- Passion for Cooking: You love working in the kitchen and are excited to create consistently great dishes.
- Strong Work Ethic: You’re reliable, hardworking, and take pride in doing a thorough job.
