About Us

Tamarack Fine Woodwork Inc. is a small, family-owned custom woodworking and millwork company specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and creating a positive work environment where everyone contributes to our success.

We manufacture custom cabinetry and millwork in-house and operate our own spray booth, allowing us to provide complete finishing services and maintain the highest quality standards from start to finish.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong woodworking skills and experience building custom cabinetry and millwork. Installation experience is considered an asset.

This is a full-time, year-round position offering the opportunity to work on unique, high-quality custom projects in a collaborative shop environment.

Responsibilities

Manufacture, assemble, and install custom cabinetry, millwork, and furniture components.
Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain quality standards throughout production.
Assist with shop organization and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of cabinet making, woodworking, or architectural millwork experience preferred.
Third and fourth-year apprentices are encouraged to apply.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
Experience operating panel saws, edgebanders, and standard woodworking machinery.
CNC experience is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence required.
