We are expanding and looking for an experienced professional to join our leadership team as a Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Coordinator.
Position Overview
The Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Coordinator will be responsible for managing the estimating process from initial site visit through final proposal submission.
This individual will play a key role in helping the company secure profitable projects while supporting the growth of our multifamily, restoration, maintenance, and general contracting divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and assess project scope
- Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and proposals
- Review drawings, specifications, RFQs, and tender packages
- Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Develop scopes of work for renovation and restoration projects
- Assist with fire, flood, and insurance-related estimating
- Coordinate tender submissions and bid deadlines
- Track estimate status and follow-up opportunities
- Work closely with Operations, Scheduling, and Accounting teams
- Support project handoff once work is awarded
- Assist with change orders and project cost reviews
- Maintain estimating databases and pricing information
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years estimating experience
- Experience in multifamily renovation, restoration, construction, or general contracting
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and tender documents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with insurance restoration estimates
- Experience with apartment and condominium renovations
- Experience with exterior renovation projects
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
- Existing industry relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
