Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire Stopper to join our construction and restoration team. Duties
- Install fire-resistant materials and barriers according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure fire-stopping components
- Conduct inspections of installed fire barriers to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Perform restoration work including caulking, sealing, and finishing around installed fire stops
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspection results
Requirements
- Proven experience with construction projects, especially in fire protection or related fields
- Proficiency in using hand tools, caulking guns, and other construction equipment
- Ability to work with diverse materials such as drywall, concrete, metal, and insulation
- Strong attention to detail to ensure proper installation and compliance standards are met
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
