Service Administrator
Drive the financial heartbeat of Field Service, where accuracy, timeliness, and ownership create real impact every day.
At NEXT Compression, the Field Service team runs hard, and the Service Administration team are the people who keep the financial and administrative side of that operation tight. You'll own the invoicing process end to end, support payroll time processing, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. This role sits at the intersection of Accounting and Field Service, and the right person will take genuine pride in keeping both moving.
We are looking to add two service administrators to our team, 1 fulltime permanent position, and one fulltime maternity coverage contract.
What you'll be doing — and why it matters
You'll drive the Field Service invoicing process, back up payroll time calculations for service, and provide the administrative backbone that lets service focus on the field.
- Own the service invoicing process end to end, from identifying ready-to-invoice jobs through to customer approval and upload
- Create service jobs and manage data entry across North and South service calendars
- Support payroll entry, timecard management, and reporting to internal and third-party standards
- Manage service-related files, organization, storage, and template creation
- Capture all labour, third-party charges, and markups accurately; assist with AR collections
- Support Field Service leadership with warranty claims and completed sales order processing
