Auto Insurance Agents play a critical role in our front-end team and are responsible for delivering exceptional service while supporting new business growth and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
As an Auto Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Processing all ICBC transactions, including renewals, changes, transfers, and payments
- Completing ICBC batching, deposits, and related administrative tasks
- Managing ICBC inventory and related office inventory responsibilities
- Issuing and maintaining private auto policies and renewals (endorsements, cancellations, etc.)
- Supporting travel insurance by directing clients to our website or issuing policies as required
- Greeting walk-in clients and collecting required information
- Answering incoming phone calls promptly and handling basic inquiries
- Processing payments
- Monitoring expiry lists and supporting renewal workflows
- Handling incoming/outgoing mail and courier items
- Supporting office opening/closing procedures
- Refilling office supplies as needed
- Supporting community and company events
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Level 1 General Insurance License (Required)
- Working knowledge of Power Broker (billing screens, customer files, abeyances, etc.)
- Familiarity with the ICBC Portal and other insurance portals
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service mindset and professionalism
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Reliable, adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- Motivation to grow and contribute to team goals
- Sales experience is considered an asset
