Job Summary:
As a team our goal is to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. Your role in that goal is very important! At Terracana Ranch Resort, our Resort All-Rounder wears most of the hats of a traditional hotel - from reservations to room cleaning; we do it all.
Job Responsibilities:
Guest Services & Front Desk
- Greet and assist guests with professionalism and warmth
- Manage check-ins/check-outs using our reservations software
- Handle phone, online, and email reservations
- Provide accurate information about resort amenities and local attractions
- Process payments and maintain a secure cash drawer
- Communicate clearly with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
Housekeeping & Room Care
- Clean guest rooms and kitchenettes to resort standards
- Change linens, restock amenities, and assist with laundry
- Report maintenance issues or damages
- Maintain cleanliness in public/common areas
Operations & Team Support
- Help with continental breakfast setup and service AND/OR sale of market items
- Monitor supplies and assist with ordering/restocking
- Participate in cross-departmental tasks when needed
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security standards
Note: Work schedule is based on occupancy levels. This role requires someone who can work both weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- A valid Canadian Drivers License with your own vehicle is REQUIRED
- Friendly, customer-focused, and committed to creating a positive guest experience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and service
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable working across departments (e.g. front desk, housekeeping, maintenance)
- High level of personal integrity, reliability, and professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, approachable, and solution-focused attitude
- Health and safety conscious, with the ability to stay calm in emergency situations
- Able to take initiative with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and capable of bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs throughout the day
- Willing to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or hotel reservation software) is an asset
