POSITION SUMMARY

Kica Contracting Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee workforce mobilization, travel arrangements, onboarding compliance, scheduling support, and employee deployment for remote camp operations throughout Northern British Columbia.

The Logistics Coordinator serves as the central point of coordination between employees, operations, administration, accounting, clients, airlines, transportation providers, and camp management teams. This role is critical in ensuring personnel arrive at camp safely, on schedule, fully compliant, and prepared for deployment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate workforce mobilization and employee deployment. Track onboarding packages and compliance requirements. Verify certifications, identification, and employment documentation. Book flights, charter transportation, shuttles, and accommodations. Coordinate employee travel to and from remote camp locations. Maintain workforce schedules and rotation plans. Schedule and monitor Drug & Alcohol testing requirements. Prepare employment packages and manage contract execution. Maintain employee databases, trackers, and reports. Provide onboarding support and employee communications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, workforce coordination, administration, HR, or operations support. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Sign, and cloud-based systems. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting remote camp operations. Workforce mobilization or travel coordination experience. Experience within mining, construction, catering, hospitality, energy, or industrial sectors.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
