Artisan Baker & Pastry Chef
The Goldfield bakery is located in the old historic 1800's gold mining town of Barkerville, British Columbia. It is an artisan bakery that services the tourism public and retail commercial wholesale services with fresh baked sourdoughs and artisan breads as well as scratch made European pastries and lunch items.
The selected candidate must have several established years in a baking career, preferably with formal training and experience with sourdough and break baking techniques.
For the rest of the year, the bakery supplies our casual fine dining restaurant and camp service company with pastries, yeasted products, specialty desserts and sourdoughs. The equipment is extensive from deck ovens, to double convections, full rack dual proofer retarder, Hobart mixers, sheeter, bun rounders, and more. This position allows for creative license and freedom within our expectations, and in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
