About the role
The Operator Sanitation is a new role, which will be responsible for successfully completing all required training, and acquiring and demonstrating your capability to competently perform all required tasks in a safe manner in order to advance to Miner 1 at Red Lake Operation.
The position will be on a 7/7 (12 – hour day) roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario. with no access to camp or FIFO
We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. The compensation range for this role is $114,589 to $155,032 CAD.
Key result areas in this role include:
Perform duties with skills acquired as Miner 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Train and successfully demonstrate ability to operate and obtain required licensing (i.e. sanitation).
Perform tasks as directed under the direction of supervisor.
Consistently work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Comply with all safety procedures.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Observe experienced workers to gain and increase knowledge of methods, procedures, and performance standards.
Report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-free.
Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements.
Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures.
About you
As an Operator Sanitation, you will possess a Secondary School Graduation Diploma and have successfully completed all relevant Common Core training modules. Prior co-op work experience is an asset, but not required. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:
Good physical fitness with the ability to work in an underground environment
Competent communication abilities
Flexible, and willing to work on a rotational shiftwork basis
Hard working and conscientious
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and interact with others
Willing and able to follow instructions
Self motivated
Willing to share knowledge and experienced with others
Able to work effectively alone and in a team environment
