Job Description
- Build and repair plastic injection and compression molds to produce parts for the automotive industry
- Perform numerous functions such as spotting components and core/cavity to sealoff, install manifold systems and wire as per needed, assemble and disassemble molds and also trouble shoot issues that may occur.
- Help achieve high quality parts for the customer also create a well functioning/low maintenance mold for the life of the mold.
- Teach and mentor less experienced toolmakers and apprentices
- Moldmaker will report to shop foreman or supervisor with issues that arise
- Must have knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems pertaining to a mold build
- Overhead crane use will be essential to complete day to day tasks
Your responsibilities
- Possess good problem solving skills and technical expertise
- Must possess good attitude and work ethic
- Must have own tools to complete various tasks pertaining to mold builds
- Must be able to use all forms of manual machines (lathes, milling machines etc)
- Must be reliable and able to function in a fast paced environment
- Must have excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $29.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week

- Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
