Summer Janitorial Work
Are you looking for a summer job where you can gain valuable work experience? We are hiring a reliable Janitorial Assistant to help clean and maintain schools during the summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties
- Floor care and cleaning
- Detail cleaning of classrooms and common areas
- Gymnasium and dormitory cleaning
- Operate small equipment safely and responsibly
- Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school, college, and university students are encouraged to apply
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Able to perform physical tasks and work on your feet
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required
Position Details
- Location: Schools in Duncan and Shawnigan Lake
- Term: Approximately 7–8 weeks (July–August)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift
- Rate of Pay: $21 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
