- You complete a cycle count and discover that one product is consistently short by 10–15 cases every time it is counted. What are some possible reasons for the discrepancy, and what would you investigate first?
- It's 3:00 p.m. on Friday. You are working on a report due by the end of the day when you receive three requests at the same time:
a. Warehouse needs help investigating an inventory discrepancy.
b. Sales wants updated inventory numbers for a customer.
c. Your manager asks for a report before leaving for the weekend.
How would you decide what to do first?
