Salus Mutual is seeking a Sales Supervisor to support and strengthen our sales function during a period of operational focus and continued growth. This role is ideal for a confident, hands-on leader who can provide day-to-day guidance to the sales team, reinforce consistency in practices, and support alignment between sales, underwriting, and overall business objectives. The Sales Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining service standards, supporting team development, and contributing to ongoing improvements across the department. This is a temporary opportunity providing coverage for an internal secondment.

Position Requirements
Experience & Expertise:
- Minimum five years of related experience
- Detailed knowledge of commercial, farm, residential, and automobile risk evaluation, rating, coverages, and procedures
- Detailed knowledge of building construction materials and techniques and of construction pricing and estimating techniques
- Understanding of the mutual insurance system and its philosophy an asset
- Experience with insurance software an asset
Education & Designations:
- Postsecondary education or equivalent training and work experience
- Other Than Life (OTL) General Insurance Agent License to be obtained within the first three months of this role
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Analytical and decision-making skills
- Adapts to new technology
- Ability to interpret and apply business rules required for sales support
