Key Responsibilities
As Sales Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving dealership performance, developing team members, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance objectives
- Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture
- Monitor and manage lead response and follow-up processes across all sales channels
- Train and develop sales consultants to improve product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
- Lead by example in prospecting, customer relationship management, and sales best practices
- Collaborate closely with the F&I team to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership performance
- Analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, and implement effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with Volkswagen brand standards and GAIN Group of Companies policies and procedures
- Support the execution of marketing initiatives, customer engagement activities, and dealership events
- Participate in ongoing training and leadership development opportunities
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of Volkswagen Victoria and the GAIN Group of Companies
Qualifications
- Proven automotive sales leadership experience
- A strong track record of achieving sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction
- Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Experience with import or luxury automotive brands is considered an asset
- Current VSA license or the ability to obtain one
- A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a criminal record check and driver's abstract upon hire

Pay: $95,000.00-$135,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Automotive Sales: 5 years (preferred)
- Automotive Sales Management: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Current VSA (or the ability to obtain) (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: On the road
