LOCATION: Main Shop is Located in Oshawa, ON. Job sites vary throughout Ontario and across Canada as required, with the majority located within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Canadian Safety Anchor Inspections (CSAI) is a leading provider of rooftop safety systems, anchor installations, inspections, testing, and certification services across Canada. Since 1992, CSAI has helped building owners, property managers, and contractors maintain safe and compliant work environments for personnel working at heights.
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roof Safety Systems Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and certification of roof anchor systems and fall protection equipment on commercial, industrial, and high-rise buildings.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable working at heights, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is eager to learn specialized skills within the fall protection industry.
Key Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Install rooftop anchor systems, fall protection equipment, guardrails, ladders, and related safety infrastructure.
- Perform inspections, testing, and certification of existing roof anchor systems in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Complete detailed inspection reports, field documentation, and supporting photographs.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain compliance with all workplace safety requirements.
- Travel to client sites throughout Ontario and occasionally across Canada.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment required for projects.
- Work safely on rooftops, elevated work areas, and construction sites.
- Communicate professionally with clients, property managers, site supervisors, and team members.
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Participate in training programs to develop technical knowledge and industry certifications.
- Support project completion by maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality, and professionalism.
Basic Skill Level Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering technology, building sciences, skilled trades, or a related field is considered an asset.
Experience:
- Previous construction, roofing, maintenance, mechanical, or field service experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working at heights or on commercial construction sites is preferred.
- Previous experience using power tools and hand tools is an asset.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working on rooftops.

- Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional overnight and out-of-province travel.
- Ability to pass Working at Heights training (if not already certified).
Preferred
- Working at Heights Certification.
- WHMIS Certification.
- First Aid / CPR Certification.
- Experience in construction, roofing, safety systems, or related industries.

Starting Wage: From $22.00 per hour, with wage review upon successful completion of probation.
