Koala Insulation of Durham is growing, and we're looking for an experienced insulation professional to join our team.

What You'll Do
- Install blown-in cellulose and fiberglass insulation in attics, walls, and other building cavities.
- Install batt insulation in residential and commercial applications.
- Perform insulation removals safely and efficiently.
- Operate and maintain insulation equipment and related tools.
- Drive company vehicles safely to and from job sites.
- Ensure equipment is maintained, clean, and operating properly.
- Maintain a professional and organized job site.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Work closely with crew members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of insulation installation experience.
- Strong experience with blown-in cellulose and fiberglass insulation.
- Valid Ontario G-Class driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating commercial work vehicles such as cube vans, insulation rigs, or similar vehicles.
- Must have been approved and listed as a driver under a previous employer's commercial insurance policy.
- Must be insurable under the company's commercial vehicle insurance policy.
- Ability to provide references confirming both insulation and commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running an insulation rig.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining insulation equipment.
- Spray foam installation experience an asset.
- Experience working in both retrofit and new construction environments.
- Experience leading or mentoring crew members.
- CRM or mobile job management software experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in hot, dusty, and physically demanding environments.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and climb for extended periods.
