The Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Program Evaluation and Impact Reporting is a key leadership role within the Quality, Safeguarding, Research and Knowledge function responsible for advancing evidence-informed decision-making, organizational learning, and impact measurement across March of Dimes Canada.
Reporting to the Director, Quality and Safeguarding, the Senior Manager provides organization-wide leadership in program evaluation, outcomes measurement, impact reporting, and knowledge translation. The role works closely with Mission Program Directors, program leaders, operational managers, and cross-functional teams, as well as staff engaged in accessibility working groups, to ensure programs and services are informed by meaningful evidence, inclusive design principles, and continuous improvement practices.
The Senior Manager will lead the development of evaluation frameworks, theories of change, logic models, performance indicators, and reporting approaches that enable Mission Program Directors and leaders to understand what is working, where improvements are needed, and how resources can be directed to maximize outcomes and social impact.
A key focus of the role will be strengthening MODC’s evaluation and learning culture by embedding inclusive design as a guiding principle in evaluation practice, advancing organizational data literacy, supporting knowledge translation, and ensuring evaluation findings translate into measurable improvements in programs, services, and client outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
Evaluation Strategy & Outcomes Frameworks
The Senior Manager will lead the development and advancement of organization-wide evaluation and outcomes measurement practices that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
Program Evaluation & Applied Research
The Senior Manager will oversee the design and implementation of evaluation and applied research initiatives that strengthen organizational understanding of effectiveness, impact, and client outcomes.
Inclusive Design, Equity & Evaluation Practice
The Senior Manager will ensure inclusive design is embedded throughout evaluation, measurement, and knowledge practices.
Data, Reporting & Knowledge Translation
The Senior Manager will champion the effective use of evidence and organizational learning to improve decision-making and outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Organizational Learning
The Senior Manager will build organizational evaluation capacity and foster a culture of inquiry, learning, and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Project Management
The Senior Manager will provide leadership and oversight for evaluation projects and initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
- 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in program evaluation, applied research, impact measurement, quality improvement, or related fields.
- Experience developing evaluation frameworks, outcome measurement systems, and performance reporting approaches.
- Experience conducting mixed-methods evaluations and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups in complex organizations.
- Experience within disability, health, community, employment, or social service sectors is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Social Return on Investment (SROI), social impact measurement, or related methodologies is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting organizational learning and evidence-informed decision-making.
Education
- Graduate degree in Program Evaluation, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, or a related field.
Professional Designations
- Credentialed Evaluator (CE) designation or equivalent is considered an asset.
Additional certifications in project management, analytics, or quality improvement are considered assets.

Hybrid work environment with 3 days in our National Office at 99 Duncan Mill Road, Toronto, ON
Salary: $107,948 - $134, 935 annually
