Location: Prince Edward Island

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)

About the Role
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and operational support across all areas of Human Resources while assisting employees and managers throughout our organization.
This role supports multiple company locations and plays an important part in maintaining employee records, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training coordination, policy administration, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements
- Review applications and coordinate interviews
- Conduct reference checks
- Prepare offer letters and employment documentation
- Coordinate new employee onboarding
Human Resources Administration
- Maintain confidential employee files and HR records
- Prepare employment letters and HR documentation
- Track employee probation periods, reviews, and training requirements
- Maintain HR forms, policies, and documentation
- Update employee information within the HR information system (HRIS)
Employee Support
- Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures
- Assist with employee relations matters and documentation
- Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
- Help organize company events and wellness activities
Training & Development
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions
- Maintain training records
- Assist in scheduling internal and external training programs
- Support performance review administration
Administrative Support
- Payroll preparation
- Manage calendars and meeting schedules
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Organize electronic and paper filing systems
- Assist with special HR projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
Education
- College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- One to three years of administrative experience, preferably within Human Resources.
- Experience with payroll, recruitment, employee files, or onboarding is considered an asset.

Additional Qualifications
- CPHR designation (or working toward one) is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Ability to travel occasionally between company locations.
- Criminal Record Check may be required.
