Senior BI Developer / Data Engineer
We are looking for a Senior BI Developer with strong data engineering skills to support the design, development, and optimization of data solutions in AWS or Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have solid backend expertise, strong SQL knowledge, and hands on experience with BI and data integration tools.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and backend data solutions on AWS or Azure.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
Work with SSIS for data integration and ETL processes.
Support data quality activities and contribute to QA strategy and quality management.
Leverage AI assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Kiro, or Amazon Q to improve productivity and development efficiency.
Collaborate with BI, data, and business teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support when needed.
Required skills
Strong experience as a Data Engineer in AWS or Azure environments.
Excellent knowledge of SQL.
Good understanding of SSIS.
Knowledge of coding assistants/tools such as GitHub Copilot, Kiro, or Amazon Q.
Experience with QA strategy and data quality management.
Nice to have
Knowledge of forecasting.
Experience using AI in development or data workflows.
Profile
Senior level BI / data engineering profile with a strong backend mindset.
Autonomous, quality oriented, and able to work in an agile environment.
Strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach.
