· Previous experience working in general maintenance, preferably in a warehouse environment.
· Able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
· Able to assist skilled trades with routine maintenance and projects requests as required.
· Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs and should be in overall good physical health
· Able to work from elevated work platform, Scissor lift and Genie boom (in house training will be provided)
· Able of general painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs.
· Comfortable operating material handling equipment (in house training provided)
· Ability to comply with relevant safety procedures, company policies and procedures.
· Ability to perform any other related general maintenance duties as required or assigned
· Ability to multitask and juggle a variety of appointments and requests at one time
· Ability to work in various different areas of the building and perform many different functions to keep the building in good standing
· Ability to communicate any issues or problems to supervisor/manager while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completed
· Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and be able to prioritize important work
· Preference will be given to individuals with hand/power tool experience.
