Cleaning Specialist - Residential
Job Title:
Residential Cleaning Technician.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To give a feeling of FREEDOM in our clients lives and spaces by providing friendly and unique services to meet their cleaning and organizing needs.

Freedom Cleaning & Organizing Ltd. Manager : Residential
Duties and Responsibilities:
Punctuality:
- Must leave the office in a timely fashion to ensure arrival at the clients’ homes in order to allow for completion of tasks in the time allotted.
- Starting Job as Scheduled-if Road conditions or weather cause delay, contact the client and management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up to date Criminal Record Check.
- Ensure all training is up to date.
- Adhere to all safety protocols including the Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
-gloves, indoor shoes, goggles, masks, etc.
- Must keep a log of kms, driving time and hours spent cleaning.
- Fill out daily log/ timesheets and hand in to your manager on a bi-weekly basis.
- Must wear uniform components and dress appropriately - this includes wearing an article of clothing with the Freedom Cleaning & Organizing Ltd. Logo (pin, apron or logo labelled article).
- Must be presentable and wear work-appropriate clothing.
-no short shirts, shorts, or inappropriate graphics.
-no ripped, torn, frayed or excessively baggy or ill-fitting clothing.
- Make sure to inventory and maintain all the necessary cleaning supplies to finish all tasks of the job and on your schedule.
- Ensure the happiness and overall satisfaction of each clients’ space you enter.
Housekeeping:
- Ensure to Check Sling for Tasks and Shift Notes under your scheduled client; Daily check- lists and specifics requested by the client will be included. Pay attention to any notes that may be left behind by our client and inform management of any requests.
Qualifications:
- Must pass a criminal record check.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques for fast and efficient service.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting agents.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable mode of transportation or discussed with management.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Team player.
Working Conditions:
- We generally work indoors when cleaning and rarely work outdoors. In some cases, we may be outdoors when cleaning windows, balconies or other outdoor spaces.
- Uniform and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for the task.
- Regularly exposed to contaminants and diseases or infections.
- Regular handling of cleaning chemicals and clean soiled items.
- Occasionally work physically near other people.
- Always in clients’ personal spaces. Expect tripping and slipping hazards and objects that can fall off high shelves etc.
- Scheduled shifts on the weekends or evenings may be necessary.
Physical Requirements
Strength Guidelines
The maximum amount you are required to lift is 50lbs. Please do not exceed this limit.
Asking a partner for help to lift heavy objects (furniture, appliances) is encouraged.
Motion Parameters
Employees will be expected to use ladders, climb on top of counters, lift heavy objects, walk, squat, climb stairs, kneel, and drive. Employees must be in a good health condition and should notify management if they cannot do/must limit their job duties.
Vision and Hearing Requirements
Employees must wear hearing/visual aids as required to do their job and get to locations safely.
Psychological Demands
Employees are expected to champion the vision of the company; this means you may be required to make quick decisions, supervise workers, problem solve, speak to clients, provide feedback, read/write etc. It is imperative to maintain a positive attitude around clients and co-workers.
