444 Construction Ltd. is seeking skilled and experienced Drywall Installers to join our dynamic team. As a Drywall Installer, you will play a critical role in our construction projects, ensuring that drywall is installed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
- Install metal and wooden framing for drywall.
- Secure drywall panels to interior walls and ceilings using nails, screws, or adhesive.
- Trim and fit drywall panels to specified sizes and shapes.
- Prepare surfaces by taping and applying compounds to joints, nail holes, and seams.
- Smooth out excess compound and allow the compound to dry.
- Sand joints and seams to a smooth, seamless finish.
- Ensure all installations meet company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Installer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for drywall installation.
- Strong knowledge of drywall techniques and methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certification or apprenticeship in drywall installation is a plus.
