Field Service Technician – Overhead Cranes & Industrial Equipment
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Compensation: $42–$43/hour + Day shift + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on overhead cranes and hoists.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic equipment issues using testing equipment and technical knowledge.
- Complete repairs while ensuring all safety systems and equipment functions are operating properly.
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding equipment safety, repairs, and improvements.
- Prepare accurate service reports and documentation using digital service tools.
- Communicate with customers professionally to deliver exceptional service.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required.
- Travel to customer sites and work independently in a field service environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Journeyman Industrial Electrician, Millwright, or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance or field service experience.
- Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, lifting equipment, or industrial machinery is highly preferred.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and working in industrial environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
