Responsibilities
- Fabricate cabinets and furniture components using wood, laminate, and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate construction.
- Assemble cabinet parts with precision, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in the production process.
- Install cabinets on-site, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication or installation process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong skills in cabinet installation and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques, including plumb measurements and fabrication methods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
