Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, personable, and professional Bartender to join our bar/lounge team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, excels at creating memorable guest experiences, and thrives in a fast-paced social environment. In addition to preparing high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service, the bartender will help maintain a fun and welcoming atmosphere by assisting guests with billiards and darts, ensuring equipment is well maintained and game areas remain clean and inviting. Previous bartending or hospitality experience is preferred, along with proficiency in POS systems such as Micros POS.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Promote a lively and enjoyable lounge atmosphere while ensuring guests have a positive experience.
- Assist guests with billiards and darts , explain basic game rules when needed, monitor equipment, and maintain clean, organized, and safe recreation areas.
- Process guest orders and payments accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Maintain bar inventory, restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Prepare and serve bar snacks or garnishes using proper food handling procedures.
- Manage multiple drink orders and guest requests efficiently during busy service periods.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and preparing the bar and lounge areas for service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous bartending, serving, or hospitality experience in a bar, lounge, restaurant, or similar venue preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Experience with POS systems, including Micros POS, and accurate cash handling.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a hospitality-focused mindset.
- Ability to support and promote guest enjoyment of billiards and darts while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
