Job Purpose
As a Material Handler and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse, and the timely delivery of those materials to designated locations. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and driving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling Duties:
● Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
● Store materials in designated locations.
● Load and unload trucks and trailers using material handling equipment.
● Safely operate material handling equipment, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.
● Maintain accurate records of materials received, stored, and shipped.
● Performed housekeeping and general tidy up of work areas to ensure efficient management of space and resources.
Delivery Driving Duties:
● Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently and safely, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
● Load and unload materials from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling and proper placement.
● Operate the vehicle safely and responsibly, following all traffic laws and regulations.
● Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns.
● Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery times.
● Maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe condition, reporting any issues or concerns.
● Performing other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications
● Valid driver’s license (G) and a clean driving record.
● Minimum 2 years’ experience in a simar role from an industrial/manufacturing establishment.
● Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions with limited supervision.
● Proven ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team
Environment.
Working Conditions
● Overtime or shift work (including weekends and holidays) may be required.
● Routine physical activities include standing, walking, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, lifting and carrying light (up to 5kg or 11lb), medium (5 to 20kg or 11 to 44lb), and/or heavy (over 20kg or 44lb) objects, pushing, pulling, working in an awkward position and/or maintaining one position for a long period.
● Work is performed mainly indoors with exposure to high level noise level; occasional work alone outdoors.
● May required prolonged periods of sitting when driving.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
