We are seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead restaurant operations, develop people, and drive business performance. The General Manager is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience, building a strong team culture, and delivering outstanding results in food safety, service, quality, profitability, and people development.
This position offers the opportunity to lead a high-volume restaurant while making a meaningful impact on employees, guests, and the local community.
What You'll Be Responsible ForOperations Leadership
- Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and hospitality standards.
- Drive restaurant performance through sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including guest satisfaction, speed of service, food cost, and labour.
- Maintain McDonald's standards for Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Value (QSC&V).
Team Development
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and crew members.
- Build a positive and engaging workplace culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Ensure effective onboarding and training programs are executed.
Financial Management
- Manage restaurant budgets and financial performance.
- Control labour, food, and operating costs.
- Analyze reports and implement action plans to improve results.
- Ensure inventory and cash management procedures are followed.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and government regulations.
- Lead health and safety initiatives and investigations when required.
Community & Brand Leadership
- Represent the restaurant within the local community.
- Support local marketing and community involvement initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with guests and community partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume quick-service environment.
- Previous General Manager or senior restaurant leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Proven ability to manage financial performance and drive results.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Strong understanding of food safety and labour management practices.
