Donair Dude Kitsilano is looking for a dependable and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading from the floor. You’ll guide the team during your shift while jumping in wherever needed—from preparing food and serving customers to cleaning and closing the restaurant.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the shift, assign duties, and support team members
- Prepare and assemble donairs, wraps, platters, side dishes, and beverages
- Safely operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment
- Make sure food is prepared according to our recipes, portions, cooking, and presentation standards
- Follow and uphold all company policies, procedures, food-safety requirements, and training standards
- Create a welcoming experience and provide friendly, responsive service
- Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally
- Monitor product levels and keep all stations stocked and organized
- Operate the POS system, handle cash, and complete closing procedures
- Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and properly secured
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment is required
- A hands-on leader who is comfortable working at every station
- Strong communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, organized, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- FOODSAFE Level 1 certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Reliable transportation or the ability to commute after late-night shifts
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Required Availability:
Weekday evenings, late-night closing shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays when required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $21.00-$22.00 per hour
