We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to support our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth within the food and hospitality industry. Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement.
- Supervise daily operations of the restaurant or food service establishment, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff including interviewing, training, and evaluating team members to foster a high-performance environment.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain consistency and compliance with health regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food presentation, serving standards, and menu offerings.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with safety protocols.
- Support restaurant management in daily administrative tasks and operational improvements.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Experience working with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with team management experience including supervising staff and conducting interviews.
- Familiarity with hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is preferred.
- Previous roles involving customer service excellence, cash handling, and food industry knowledge are highly desirable.
- Additional experience in hotel operations or barista roles can be advantageous for this position. Pay: From $20.00 per hour
