Purpose is the reason a company exists. It's not about making money or selling products - it's the deeper "why" behind everything we do. It answers the question: What problem are we solving? What positive change are we creating?
For Siemens, our purpose has been clear for over 175 years: We create technology to transform the everyday, for everyone.
The world needs technologies that work. Technologies that matter. Technologies that solve today's challenges and help shape a better tomorrow. And that's exactly what we build. By bringing together the real world (factories, buildings, power grids, trains) with the digital world (software, data, AI, digital twins), we help our customers become more competitive, resilient, and sustainable.
Our technology is everywhere - in trains and transportation, we help move people faster, safer, and more sustainably.
We are proud to be Great Place to Work® certified, fostering an environment where innovation thrives, teamwork matters, and every voice contributes to shaping the future. Our culture embraces different perspectives, open debate, and the courage to challenge convention. Change is a constant part of our work, and we strive to lead transformation in our industry rather than simply react to it. That’s why we invite our people to take on new challenges, test new ideas, and celebrate success together!
