Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated BOH (Back of House) Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Support the front-of-house team by ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
- Stock ingredients and supplies as needed, notifying management of inventory shortages
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates
