Overview:
The Production and Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day organization and efficiency of our production environment. This role helps coordinate priorities, maintain operational systems, support safety initiatives, manage documentation, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while keeping projects moving forward. They have strong communication skills, enjoy collaborating with different teams, and are able to build positive working relationships while ensuring expectations and processes are clearly maintained.
Working closely with teams across the business, this role helps ensure information is shared, priorities remain aligned, and our production processes continue to run smoothly and efficiently.
We’re looking for someone who is curious, thoughtful, and excited to be part of a hands-on production environment. Experience in jewelry or manufacturing is an asset, but we value organization, attention to detail, initiative, and a willingness to learn just as much as specific experience. This is a full-time, on-site position located at 181 W 5th Ave, Vancouver BC. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with regular shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Occasional shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. may be required based on business needs.
Duties Include:
- Coordinating daily operations by preparing priority lists, tracking production priorities, and updating manuals in consultation with Production Manager.
- Health and safety activities, including updating documentation, attending meetings, and conducting walkthroughs.
- Supporting new season work by building out timelines and sending out updates.
- Proactively identifying ways to improve workflow and take on additional tasks as needed to support team and production success.
- Coordinating onboarding and training.
Skills and Assets:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and follow through with minimal supervision.
- Strong written communication and meeting minute documentation
- Experience coordinating multiple projects or administrative processes.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including WHMIS and SDS.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, production, jewelry, shipping, or inventory environments are an asset.
