Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards as requested.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems.
- Perform general carpentry, drywall, painting repairs.
- Perform seasonal property maintenance.
- Coordinate with outside contractors when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Supervise or assist with small-scale projects or upgrades, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Respond promptly to tenant or staff maintenance requests with excellent customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and commercial renovations and maintaince.
- Ability to read and follow plans, instructions and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of general construction and building repairs (drywall, framing, flooring, finishing)
- Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently.
- Experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Punctual, honest and relaible.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work both, indoors and outdoors.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in facilities maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Extra Qualifications:
- Trade certification or apprenticeship (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC or, electrical).
- Valid Ontario Driving License and clean driving records.
- Experience using smart phone and work-order software.

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
