IFD Technologies is a growing tech company located in Vancouver, BC. We are a tight-knit team focused on developing innovative products design to help electric utilities manage their distribution networks. For over 25 years our company has grown by continuing to develop our flagship product, the IFD Sensor. Recently we have added a second mechanical sensor called TempPatrol. We are also in the process of developing a series of new digital products. All our products are produced and distributed at our manufacturing facility in Port Kells which we opened in 2024.
Your role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in operating the Port Kells facility. Your focus will be on managing material flow to and from the assembly lines as well as pulling and preparing shipments. This role also has the opportunity to be involved in a variety of other manufacturing areas including assembly, safety and continuous improvement initiatives, quality assurance and more! Your creativity, initiative, and energy will drive your opportunity.

How you might spend your days
- Organizing and storing incoming components
- Pulling and feeding components to the assembly line and storing finish good pallets
- Assisting the shipper in pulling and preparing customer shipments
- Performing routine safety inspections and equipment maintenance as required
- Supporting manufacturing operations areas such as assembly, shipping, receiving and QC
- Participating in lean principles and continuous improvement projects as required
- Communicating and collaborating with various business areas to meet our customer (internal and external) needs
The must-haves
- Committed to promoting a safe work environment and continuous improvement initiatives
- Technical degree / diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience with operating a stand-up reach truck
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes (50 lbs) and pallets with pallet jack as required
- Proficient English communication skills (verbal and written)
The nice to haves
- Comfortable using Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel, Word, Teams) and ERP systems
- Experience in collaborating and communicating with cross functional teams
- Familiar with lean principles and WorkSafe BC standards
