Okanagan Civil Constructors is currently seeking experienced applicants for civil construction operator positions. The position entails running an excavator, rock trucks, loader, packer, dozer, and more.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of sizes of machines
- Daily maintenance of machine
- Perform daily safety checks before operation and after
- Take preventative measures regarding machine systems
- Take directions from ground crew
- Knowledge on reading plans and knowing grades/elevations
- Follow SWP for special operations
- General bulk out, Loading trucks, mainline excavations
- Work in tight areas
- Machine Grade Control
- Working around existing utilities
- Maintain safety standards
Valid drivers license will be required.
