Job Description
The Selections coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact guiding homeowners through all finish and material selections for residential construction projects and translating those decisions into clear, accurate, build-ready documentation. This role acts as a critical bridge between the homeowner and construction team to ensure selections are finalized on time, within budget, and properly communicated for purchasing and installation.
This role will require exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of builder concerns.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead homeowners through the selection process for finishes, fixtures, and materials (interior and exterior)
- Translate finalized selections into clear documentation for project managers, superintendents, and vendors
- Update drawings, elevations, and details as needed to reflect final selections
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm product specifications and availability
- Communicate changes promptly to all relevant parties including internal team and construction group
- Work closely with operations team to meet project milestones
- Identify potential conflicts or long-lead items early and flag them for the team
- Assist with change documentation related to selections (pricing provided by others)
- Maintain accurate digital and physical files for each project
- Track selection deadlines and follow up to keep projects moving
- Help refine and improve internal selection processes and templates
- Prepare and maintain organized selection schedules for each project
- Ensure selections align with contract allowances, design intent, and project timelines
- Track approvals and signed-off selections
- Coordinate with designers, architects, and engineers

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
