We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hair Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional client experience. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and delivering outstanding customer service to build client loyalty and drive business growth.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the salon team, including stylists, front desk staff, and assistants
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring satisfaction
- Perform hair styling services as needed and assist team members with technical expertise
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products and promote special services to enhance client experience and increase sales
- Manage front desk operations, including appointment booking, payment processing, and client check-in/out
- Train new staff members on salon procedures, customer service standards, and product knowledge
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations
- Handle client concerns or complaints professionally to maintain a positive reputation for the salon
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating technical skills
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a salon or similar service environment preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a salon setting
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while providing personalized recommendations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently at front desk operations
- Effective communication skills to lead staff meetings, train team members, and resolve client issues confidently
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
