Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical systems and tools. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problems quickly.
- Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to ensure proper installation of electrical components.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to electrical systems.
- Experience as an industrial electrician is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
- Background in construction or maintenance person services is a plus.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and regulations.
