Job Title: After School Coordinator
Reports To: Center Manager
Position Summary:
The After School Coordinator manages the daily operations of the after-school program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students. The coordinator oversees program activities, communicates with families, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Student Supervision
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all students.
- Monitor student attendance and sign-in/sign-out procedures.
- Address behavioral issues using positive behavior management techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety and emergency procedures.
Parent and Community Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians.
- Communicate program updates, schedules, and student concerns.
- Foster positive relationships with families, schools, and community partners.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and program records.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required.
- Manage program supplies and inventory.
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and organizational policies.
- Conduct safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness plans.
- Report incidents and concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or youth development settings.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Successful completion of background screening requirements.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
