Contractor Compensation: $75-$100 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
Estimated Hours: 0-16 hours/week (flexible)
Maples YardWorks is seeking an experienced ISA Certified Arborist to work with us on a contract basis in Winnipeg. We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused professional who delivers high-quality tree care services for residential and commercial properties.
This opportunity is ideal for an arborist who is already working full-time or operating independently and is looking to take on additional, flexible work during evenings and/or weekends.
Scope of Work
- Conduct tree assessments and provide professional recommendations for pruning, removal, and treatment
- Perform safe and efficient tree pruning, trimming, and removals
- Operate and maintain chainsaws, climbing equipment, and related arborist tools
- Ensure all work aligns with ISA standards and safety best practices
- Provide guidance or oversight to crew members when required
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site
Requirements
- Certified Arborist
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites (Winnipeg/Maples area)
- Proven experience with climbing
- Strong understanding of tree biology, pruning standards, and safe work practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, professional, and safety-oriented
Contract Details
